Four Startups peer selected for investment of $60,000 in Cohort 3 of the Hive Accelerator Program

Four innovative Ugandan startups were peer selected for investment and have significant boost to their growth journeys, each winning $15,000 through the Hive Accelerator program. This achievement comes after an intensive 3 weeks of workshops designed to test their resilience and business potential. The Hive Accelerator program, in partnership with the Argidius Foundation, has supported 60 entrepreneurs to date. By equipping startups with crucial insights, mentorship, and resources, the program plays a pivotal role in fostering high-impact businesses in Uganda, preparing them for investment and long-term success.

Among the peer selected enterprises, Mudali Foundation Limited stands out for its commitment to transformative social change. Preventing wastage of fresh fruits into dried high-quality, nutritious, and convenient products for export, minimizing waste and maximizing value for farmers, consumers, and communities.

LintonBox Packaging Limited has emerged as a leader in innovative and eco-friendly packaging solutions, setting new standards in sustainable packaging to meet the growing demands of modern businesses.

Msichana Esteem Products Limited is making waves with its high-quality re-usable sanitary pads that promote women’s confidence and self-esteem, enabling women to feel empowered and thrive.

Meanwhile, Abba Quality Co. SMC Limited continues to shine with its dedication to quality and excellence, formulating highly nutritious food supplements without preservatives at affordable prices and through community based projects and village health teams identify vulnerable individuals (women and children) to whom these foods are availed to curb malnutrition.
